Hi everyone I’m trying to post but not sure how to.I will give it a go.My rooster is now nearly 20 weeks old and hasn’t crowed yet which I’m happy about.He is a very big and tall boy but I don’t know what breed he is.

Does that mean he won’t be good to breed with my hens?

Looks like a mutt. You can use him to breed, you'll just make more mutt chickens instead of pure breeds.

He's fine to breed if you just want chickens and don't care about traits he might or might not pass to the little ones. You will just have whats called a barnyard mix flock. My roo is a GLW (mother) and RIR (father) mix.

Nah, he'll be fine. Just won't make any pure babies
