Got him from family. They have a ton of mixed chickens they have free ranging. Some game also. No leghorns though. He has a straw type color on hackle and saddle feathers. Any idea on what breeds he is? Thanks!!

None of the chickens they have are white. Blue red laced wyandottes, buff Orpington, barred rocks, some Rhode island red mixes. He is older, so don't know if he is actually a mixed breed or not. What breeds free range? The details will let us make our best guess.
He's probably a mix of whatever types that are running around.
He could be an Orpington mix based on the white skin.None of the chickens they have are white. Blue red laced wyandottes, buff Orpington, barred rocks, some Rhode island red mixes. He is older, so don't know if he is actually a mixed breed or not.
Looks like he has some Buff Orpington. But I wonder what the white in it came from. It looks half Leghorn.None of the chickens they have are white. The game are all red from what I saw.He could be an Orpington mix based on the white skin.
You mentioned Games, are any of them white, or Silver?
No leghorns around though. That's what I had thought tooLooks like he has some Buff Orpington. But I wonder what the white in it came from. It looks half Leghorn.
Any of the chickens have white in their plumage? Not talking about the Buff Orpingtons, or Wyandottes. The game are all red from what I saw.
Maybe if the chickens are all mixed he was some sort of a throw back?No leghorns around though. That's what I had thought too
