Are these just for eggs or are you wanting to sell chicks too?
If eggs you could get different breeds so you have a colorful egg basket. I’ve never had a welsummer but I hear they are nice and have pretty eggs.
As far as selling chicks, with sex link chicks you know gender at hatch. There’s different ways to make them.
I personally love silkies, Australorps, Barred Rocks, Blue Andalusians and Easter Eggers.
Regardless of what you choose I’m excited for you to get some chickens of your own!
Also I’d like to add if you are in a cold climate to choose breeds with small combs.
