I have searched and read many posts here and I apologize for yet another on the subject but I’m at a loss. My young rooster cannot stand up. He is otherwise alert and acts normal. If I pinch a foot he can draw it back but his toes stay curled. He is eating, drinking & eliminating normally. His appetite is great, he talks to his hens. He stays in a small isolation coop but I get him out to sit in the grass and be with his girls. I don’t know what else we can try. It is not his crop, he is not dehydrated, my chickens were recently dewormed, i’ve been giving him Nutri-drench for 4 days. At this point I’m wondering if he has a spinal injury. I’ve only owned him a little while. My friend got chicks and couldn’t keep a rooster. I believe he’s 6 months old.
