rooster chasing hens (and not in a good way!)

My rooster has been chasing one hen in particular away from food and water. He keeps running her into the hen house, and out of the run, it's like he doesn't want her to eat or drink. He mostly does it when I am out there. He does mate with her occasionally, but mostly just runs at her and pecks her. Any ideas why he does this.... I guess he just doesn't like her!

Yup,they do it some time.I do not think it last for ever but make sure the hen is eating

thanks! yes, I make sure she eats and drinks, I just feel sorry for her. She is one of my biggest best layers and Second in the pecking order. I want her to be happy and not scared and looking over her shoulder all the time. Or spending her days in the house when every body else is out running around.... And Rooster is usually such a good boy, I just can't understand it?
