Hey guys, So I have a silkie rooster who has decided that now is going to be the time to start crowing, and to start getting good at it. So we have invested in a rooster collar. The rooster collar so far is not going so well. Not quietening crow at all. We have just adjusted the collar for the 10th time hoping this time will be the last. Now my questions,
How do I know if it's to tight?
Will this be a long term solution or will it need to be taken off and not worn ALL the time?

Would really appreciate some help. I have looked at MANY threads and LOTS of different websites. None have answered these questions.

Thanks

I never used a rooster collar. 2 years ago I had like 40 adult breeder roosters. They had a chorus going in the early AM. I thought it was Funny. But I could not hear them from inside my house.

Question, Do you need a rooster? I have not studied a collar, but it must work like---some-what Choke him if he tries to crow?
