no, it was not a bantam. He was about 6 months old when I put it on him. They have different sizes for different breeds. Mine was a mixed breed, but worked well using the size guidelines on the website. I bought it at mypetchicken.com
But as someone noted, you have to be careful not to put it on too tight.
Get it as low on the neck as you can, and be sure you can fit the tip of your pinky finger on the edge.

I got it from mypetchicken.com too. Its pretty much just a Velcro strip ( i cant believe i paid $17 lol for it.
We are going to put it on tomorrow as its pouring here right now.

So far it works great we didn't put it on tight and it needs to be adjusted but it already cut down on the loudness and frequency. Its only until he matures and eases up then it will come off

Lol ok. I'm hoping to make my own after I see design of first (if I need another) but want good idea of how Do it . I'm very fond of my roo boy & don't wanna take any unnecessary chances making it wrong. Thanks
