I have 4 beautiful white Leghorn roos, made the rookie mistake of getting a straight run and it was more roos than pullets (started with 5r and 3p) I know I can't keep all these roos with as few pullets as I have, I have a total of 7 pullets now. I feel like someone told me that some people keep a flock of only roosters. The Leggies are, in my opinion, not worth the trouble of trying to eat, there's just not a lot of meat on them, but I might be a little scared to euthanize them anyway because I've never done it before.... IF I were to keep an all roo flock, how far would they have to be from my girls, and is it even possible?

We have a bantam bachelor flock. It doesn't matter how far away from the girls they are, they still crow pretty regularly to get the ladies' attention. Luckily, we have very tolerant neighbors and their kids love to bring "The Boys" treats. It's a win/win/win for all of us, even the feather-heads!

Probably keeping them a roos the yard is a good idea, but you don’t have to.As little my as nobody can breed they will probably get along.
