Rooster Comb

I just bought a very nice BO rooster but I was a little upset because his comb has lots of white and black spots on it. I have heard of frost bite on combs is that what that is? I'm upset if it is because then I got a bad rooster. I also heard black spots can affect fertility. Let me know what you think. If you want me to post a picture I can but would preffer not to. THX in advance

Pix are almost necessary. Could it be Fowl Pox/ Dirt/ Blood?

I've never heard that it effects fertility, but I've never had a roo either. Good luck
