Rooster controversy much ballyhooo!

This is my rooster Rex, when I bought him I was told he was a blue laced red wyandotte, well, he's obviously not that, I've been told he's a black laced red and another person said they think he's a gold laced rooster.

I'm leaning towards black laced wyandotte but he does have golden lacing along his breast... What say you BYC folks?

He's definitely blue. I'd say he's just a Blue Laced Red with really crappy red enhancers. Technically you could probably call him a Blue Laced Gold.

lol another strain of Wyandotte I never knew existed, how many colors and patterns does this breed have? I love the breed though, awesome birds, even if my girls are nearly 6 months and yet to give me an egg (I blame the heat, a summer molt and the stress of moving into a new coop with new birds)

That's what I was afraid of, good rooster though, I need to find a solid wyandotte breeder and get some good foundational birds.
