Rooster crowing at 11 p.m.?

Anyone know why my rooster might be crowing at 11 p.m.? I don't remember him ever doing this before. Could it be because it's chilly out there tonight, or might there be a mouse or something in the coop?

Yes I'd guess something is bothering him. My roos don't crow at night.

Some people have roos that do crow at odd hours I have read but if yours doesn't usually do it, I'd say he hears something...maybe a coon?

Yikes - thanks all. The coop is super secure, totally bounded in hardware cloth, but something could have been trying to dig in. I'll check closely today.
