ROOSTER CROWING BECOMING PROBLEM

Options.

1. Give him away.
2. Eat him.
3. Let some one else eat him.
4. Put him in a small cardboard box every night. If he can't stand up, he can't crow.
Don't forget he is in the box!
Take him out, feed him and let him out.
If that doesn't work ,there are always options 1, 2 or 3.

If this roo is a pet, then please try Mahonri's #4 option. It will allow you to keep a beloved pet, your neighbor's good will (and possibly sanity!), and not have to worry about your pet's becoming someone's next meal. It's worth a try.....

It's unfortunate that the roo got out, but what a great ending to the story! That's fantastic, and it shows that a crowing roo does not immediately and automatically mean "PROBLEM".

Mine get put in a box every night. While crowing still occurs, it is muffled enough. My roosters still crow if they can't stand up all the way but it definitely doesn't travel as far. Now if I can only get them to stop crowing all day long in unison. It's driving ME nuts.

That is not true. They can crow while sitting, it is a little more difficult but they can do it and most will.

Correct.
