Rooster crowing for hours at a time

I have two roosters, A black copper marans and a silkie. The marans rooster will start crowing at about 4:30 am and continue till 7 am or later. Then he will go on random crowing sprees for lengthy periods during the day. Is this typical behavior or do I just have a super crower bird? The silkie rarley crows. Thanks!

My Jersey Giant roos that I have a while back crowed from before sun up to dark.

They made sure everyone heard them all day long. Some roos are just more vocal then others.

Thanks, guess I have have a really vocal one. At least there are *some* periods of silence
