Rooster crowing

Hello ppl .. i have a 5 month old marans rooster that start crowing .. i know roosters crows I'm fine with it . But why is my rooster be crowing a good 20 to 30 minutes straight . Why he isn't like other rooster that give out a good 3 or 4 louds ones and that it . Is it because hes young ?

Crowing is a way of saying "Hey, I'm here". So he may just be enthusiastic about letting the world know where he's at.

Totally understand but his broken crowing is sound so ugly ... will it mature as he aged?

I have a 6 month old rooster and he has the most awful crow, but I love it. It's always sounded mostly the same.

Most likely. Often at first their crows rival the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard, but they will become deep and beautiful.

It does sound really awful at first, although I assure you that it should change from a squeaky broken teenager voice to a much more mature adult crow.
