Immediately after my rooster does his crow he makes like a 'wheezing' sound.
The word 'wheezing' sounds unhealthy but that's the best way to describe what it sounds like.
He doesn't make sounds when he breathes normally only after his crow...maybe his throat is still constricted from crowing so makes a sound on the inhale after the crow?
It's only my biggest roo who is about 2 to 2 1/2 years old, the junior roo at 18wks old doesn't do this since he's been crowing for just over a month now.
Anyone else noticed this with their roosters?
