Rooster Denial?

Any chance you think this could be a hen? My small glimmer of hope is seeming to fade. Was supposedly a female sexed Cochin chick. Can’t keep it if it’s a rooster, so I’m trying to figure out when I can make a decision to rehome. 8 weeks old.

It depends on the bird. Standard Cochins tend to be slower to mature but it could start any day or it could start closer to 12 weeks. I would assume sooner rather than later

Mine started crowing today, he’s not even 6 weeks
