The last chicks I raised were used to seeing me in a particular pair of yard shoes. The day I changed to a pair that was a different color, they were really staring at those shoes! The first pair was a dull red and the new ones were bright white. The funniest was the first time it was warm and I came out on the patio in bare feet for the first time. They all had to stop what they were doing, come over, stand around in a circle and stare at my feet!

At one point I wiggled my toes and that really amazed them! They're so goofy and cute when they're young.

Are you sure he just isn't being aggressive? Everyone else in this "old" thread also enunciated some mistakes. I believe the cockerel was loathing them, not their shoes.
