I’ve owned chickens for three years now but This is my first season with a rooster. He was supposed to be female but... anyway I don’t have the heart to take him away from his flock and he has been very gentleman-like so far. He has only just started crowing around 4 1/2 to 5 months old. My question is will he attempt to breed with my older birds or will he stick to his sub-flock?
