Rooster fancy’s duck.

We have a whole flock of ducks along with 4 chicken hens and a rooster. They were all doing great together at first, until the rooster took a liking to my blue swedish duck. Now he is always trying to grab her by the head and stick her. I’m not sure what to do to stop this, I feel terrible that my duck has to go through such assault on a daily basis, i’ve tried catching him to lock him up, but my dad tells me to let him out.

Can you seperate them with fencing? He actually can't mate (physically, chickens don't have male parts like other animals) the ducks but it's concerning that her could hurt her back and head. This would be more serious if it was a drake mounting a chicken, they do have male junk and can seriously hurt a chicken, who isn't built for it.

I will run it by my dad and see what we can use to fence him off, Thank you.
