Hey guys I’ve set 6 Muscovy duck eggs in an rooster farms incubator
I’ve set the temp at 37.5 degrees celcuis and humidity is at 70%
Problem is the temp on the incubator keeps raising to 38.8 degrees celcuis

three things I need to know
1) would this temp rise affect the eggs in a bad way?
2) has anyone used this incubator before?
3) does anyone know what the correct perimeters I should have input to this type of incubator (when setting the temp and humidity I get “f1-f2-f3-f4-f5” f3 and f4 are temp and humidity...

It’s a Air Forced one (has a fan in the top)...

please help this is my 1st time incubating eggs

70% humidity is way too high. Lower it to around 40%.
That temp rise is up to 101 degrees. That's too high. It could hurt the eggs if it fluctuates for too long at those temps. You could lower the temp, but try wrapping the incubator in a blanket or towel (Leave any air holes/vents uncovered though!) and see if that helps keep the temp stable.
I have no clue about that specific incubator. Can you post a pic of it?

i will gladly get a pic....

That’s where it’s happy to sit at the moment temp and humidity wise... did have the temp at 35.2 during the day (it was warm day) and humidity was at 50%
since its now dusk this is where the temp and humidity has placed its self....
it’s also “rocking“ the eggs every 5 mins or so....

Ok.
Have you checked the temp inside with a calibrated thermometer, to be sure it's accurate?
Every 5 minutes is a lot! How much does it rock them?
That incubator kinda looks like a chinabator to me...

I think it maybe... I’ll try and get a video and I need a what thermometer?

You should always keep a recently calibrated thermometer inside of your incubator to confirm that the internal temperature is correct. They're easy to calibrate.

To be honest I’ve never heard of one.... as I said before this is my very first time using an incubator... normally I just let my ducks do all the work... while I feed and care for them...
thought I’d try a winter hatch using a bator so my girls weren’t sitting in the cold for a month and a bit... lol
