I have a black australorp rooster, and for the most part he is pretty docile he has his occasional cranky moment though. But a year after I got him I noticed 3 of my hens plucking his tail feathers out. This past winter I noticed the tips of his wings turned white, not sure if that is common in a black australorp rooster or maybe he got frostbite although I thought that was just on his skin. But he has very few tail feathers and the skin underneath is red and irritated. Not sure what's going on or how I should help him?

This is Elvis I could not get closers photos of the swollen red area. But he either has new feathers growing or the ends are stuck. Some of the white feathers came out today though I will post those soon.
