Very well then.... Ill probably feed all flock with oyster shells as a choice.

so i did some research and found that roos can be fed layer feed as long as no EXTRA calcium supplements like oyster shells are mixed in.

There is extra calcium supplements in all layer feed. Layer feed is made this way so laying hens will have enough calcium to make strong eggshells.
