Rooster fending off fox?

Rooster going after a kid is not ok. When i have an iffy rooster i hand the kid a piece of half inch pvc a couple feet long with instructions only to use if rooster starts to chase them. If one gives me trouble i carry a pvc pipe like a walking stick between my old roo and i, reminding him I'm boss without hitting him. Today. A few years ago he got bopped for coming after me. Beats having to cook them.

How you raise and cull them affects their taste and texture. Do the deed quickly! Aging the meat will improve the texture! We eat any and all cockerels our hens hatch out !No reason not to eat the food you raised yourself! Do one at a time (less stressful) Good luck!
