hello, I have a black australorp rooster who is favoring his foot. I researched bumble foot as the pad of his foot is swollen and slightly warm and can not find an entry point for any infection on it. I soaked it in epsom salts and he did better for about a day, but then reverted to favoring it again. I have tried everything i can think of. I caged him for a week to see if he would improve and he still favored it. I don't really want to go in and drain it without seeing an infection point but i'm wondering if i should try it anyway? There aren't any vets around here that treat roosters. should i just keep up some daily soakings and see what happens? i checked his leg movement to make sure he didn't have an injury and that is fine. I welcome any ideas because i am at a loss!
