I need to sell my beautiful rooster, he is 1 year old. How much should I ask?

Try checking Craigslist for other listings in your area, but my guess is he's worth around $20-25 in SoCal.

Chicken prices are up a bit this year, even for roosters. Notice someone was wanting $50 for Black Copper Marans roos and another is asking $25 for a "beautiful rooster" that is probably a mix.

You can try to list him for $10-20, and lower the price if necessary. Around here you can't give them away.

Yeah...California is its own animal both in real estate and chicken prices... the rooster might be worth anything between 0 to $10 in the Midwest....
