Rooster furiously attacking treat bottle!!

My rooster (6 months old) saw the treat bottle shaking in my hand today... and he ran right up to it and attacked it like crazy! All his hens were staring at him weirdly. Is it because: 1. The bottle makes noises when shook and 2. It always steals his hens away?... LOL

I have no idea as I’ve never had a chicken, much less a roo who would do that.

I’d love to see a video of that though….

Who knows. Maybe it startled him? May I ask how you reacted? I only ask this because that can be a huge factor in your cockerels personality. There's really no telling with a cockerel. It could be anything I wish you the very best with your flock. @Shadrach has some very informative articles about roosters that may be of interest to you

Edited : Please overlook if you've had cockerels and/or roosters before. They can be some little buggers but they're just so handsome
