Rooster has lost his voice

Hi I am kind of new to this, but i have a Maran rooster he is about 2 years old now and i noticed a week ago that he has began to slowly lose his voice and it is now just a squeak. Other than what i know he is not showing any other signs and seems to be quite happy with his girls, any ideas of what it could be will be much appreciated

Have no idea what he has but if you figure it out let me know. I want to give it to roster!

have you checked his throat for anything that might be stuck or growing around his vocal cords like a tumor?
is he still eating and drinking?
