Rooster having an allergic reaction.

Yesterday my rooster was going about his day normally. He was just fine.

This morning his entire face and waddles and all are swollen. I think he is actually having a reaction from a bite or sting. I gave him Benadryl. Has anyone had this happen?

Oh my gosh!! That’s terrible!!! So sorry I don’t know much about this and don’t know what you could do for him but praying he heals.

If it is a bite or sting, do not give him anymore Benadryl within a 24 hour period. Hopefully the venom will be gone out of his system by then.
The Benadryl will keep his trachea open so he can breathe.
