Rooster having trouble walking

Pics
My rooster seems to have improved slightly. I see him actually using his right foot now, which he didn't before. He's eating and drinking good too. He's not 100% but I think he may come around.
That's good!
It really can take many weeks for the limp to totally go away.
Have you been 'resting' him?

I was resting him up until a couple of days ago I decided to put him back out with the hens. He seemed very depressed in the crate and wasn't eating. He has noticeably lost a little weight, so I thought it'd be best if he's back with his flock.

Makes sense.
You could still rest him occasionally for varying duration's.
Use your best judgement to keep things well balanced.
Observe and Adjust!

UPDATE: After showing much progress for the past week or so, my rooster has taken a turn for the worse. I'm not sure if he reinjured it somehow, but he's basically dragging his right foot behind him now. I had to help him out of the coop this morning. :(

Here a few more pictures of the yellow spots (now scabbing) on his abdomen as well as pictures of his eyes that appear cloudy blueish. Doesn’t mareks affect the eyes?

I can see anything in the eyes that look like Mareks, but maybe a better picture might help. Are you cleaning the yellow lesions with betadine or Hibiclens (chlorhexidene) and water?

Sorry about the pictures. It's hard to get a good shot when it's just me. If I were to describe his eyes, I would say they are foggy/cloudy bluish over both the pupil and the iris in both eyes.

I haven't been cleaning the lesions at all. Is there anything at home in my medicine cabinet that I can clean with like rubbing alcohol, peroxide, antibiotic ointment?
