Rooster help

Here's my scenario, I have 17 hens just under puberty, and 6 roosters. 1 rooster is in with the hens and the other five are in a homemade mobile chicken coop. How far should I keep the mobile chicken coop from the big coop?

I usually do ok with the pens about 20 ft. apart. They usually don't spar unless they're in adjacent pens.

Well the five are in the same pen as soon as they see hens wont they kill eachother

With the hens not with them in their own pen they shouldn't fight each other over them. I've kept roosters in a pen a few feet from my main pen. They would run to side facing big pen when the hens were let out and puff up and make noise to attract them but not fight one another just attempt to get to hens/attract them and puff up to rooster in large pen. This ruckus was in few minutes after letting them all out in the morning then calms down.
