I personally am perfectly fine with selling/giving chickens to a person who will butcher them. Your priorities may be slightly different. Ask any potential owners and maybe charge a $15 rehoming fee. It'll take you longer to get rid of him, but no one's buying chicken for $15.
Cockerels usually go for $0-$5 where I live, so don't expect to get much money for him. Check out the Utah state thread, and see if anyone wants a cockerel. Cochins are known to be pretty nice roosters. You can also try "animals in need of free re-homing."
My local feed store will let you post ads on the counter and windows. Some people belong to local chicken facebook groups--as I do not have Facebook, I cannot comment.
I'd avoid Craigslist, as I've heard some odd stories about it.
