Hello everyone,
My name is Mark and I have 1 Rhode Island Red rooster and 18 hens of various breeds. Recently we had 3 baby chicks that hatched and have been completely raised by 2 of our broody hens. They are growing up strong. We have a large walk in coop and a fenced off area that is almost a quarter of an acre.
We have lots of banana trees, avocadoes, mangoes, starfruit, coconuts, citrus, figs, loquat, passion fruit, loquat, dragon fruit and many other tropical fruit trees. We also have 2 large fenced in areas of organic vegetable gardens with kale, collard greens, brocoli, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, bok choy, cilantro, parsley, mint.
I recently started a youtube channel to share our backyard flock and organic gardening techniques....check it out at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrB-ZPh0mdG__4RPUYC8gTA. I would welcome any comments on my videos and if you would subscribe that would be great! I'm looking to share and learn as much as possible on this forum.
Happy New Year!
Mark
