Rooster hurt eye

Yeah, Oscar here, our Rhode Island Red must have gotten his eye scratched or some infection. For a week I had to put him in a seperate cage to keep an eye on him. His eye is swollen closed looks like tear , bloodyish when I try to open it, . He seems ok otherwise, he eats and everything, he does have runny greenlike poop. What do you think is the problem? Thanks
