Rooster in peril

Excellent ventilation, no grit or oyster shells. They all free range on 50 acres. Lots of rocks and dirt.
 
Yes, I treated all of them. They got the mites pretty bad. I have to treat them again in a couple of days. Their house isn't completely warm but, no major winds going thru.
 
Can you feel of his crop to check if it is full and hard, puffy, or empty? If he has been eating the walls, that may or may not be the problem. Mites are much more deadly than lice, and can make them very anemic or even die. Here is a good link to read when you get time to make sure they are mites and not lice:

Thank you. Very helpful. I'll keep u all posted. Also will try to block any way to the walls.
 
Mites or lice, they bite me and are , well, looks like he has both. His crop seems full . I mean a little puffy
