I wanted to take him to have surgery but, the local vet let me know that, he knows nothing about chickens but how to bbq them. Wont be going there. This site has been way, way more helpful. Thanks everyone

I was leaning into my coop the other day, drop down door, and one of my SLW tried to eat the drawstring on my hoodie. I was surprised because it is dark blue and the coop was kinda dark.

Give him his usual feed, but some treats of egg and chopped liver would be good occasionally. Some chicken vitamins would also help his appetite and his general health sinc e he is puny. I am sure you are so pleased, since he seems to mean a lot to you. Good luck.
