I have an eight week old Serama/OEGB crossbreed roo that is already crowing (sounds like a creaky door hinge on a very tiny door) and last night I spotted him trying to mate with his sisters. At only eight weeks themselves, there was no way they were willing for that, so they screamed as he grabbed their necks and tried to mount them. He started up again this morning so I put him in a time out pen.

I need to rehome him anyway, but now it looks like I'm going to have to keep him separated while I try to find someone to take him. Aaargh.

My little Sebright roos are crowing all the time now. It is real raspy but it is still crowing.

Luckily they haven't had any interest in the birds and the bees yet.
