Rooster is drooling when drinking water???

How old is he? Are you putting any supplements in the water? I've never had a chicken that drooled so I wonder if he could have a problem in his crop. Have you felt to see if it's full or empty when he does that?

5-6 months old, I think.
His crop is half empty right now. It also feels normal in case you wanted to know.
Nothing is in the water.

Why on earth would worms cause drooling?
How much drool? I've seen some water come back up but the bird involved was fine and it certainly didn't die of some crop issue later. I rather wonder if it has something to do with height of the waterer.

Sometimes when it first turns warm, and they drink a lot of water, they will sort of "drool", or mildly vomit out water. When they get more acclimated to the change in temperature, and don't drink as much, it stops. That's all I can think of that might be happening.
