Rooster is in love with duck...

One of my roosters, an EE is in love with my Indian runner duck. He will not stop trying to mate her. She will be minding her own business when he jumps from his roost and tries to mate her. She quacks and fights and eventually gets away from him. For the last week she has been the subject of his affection. He completely ignores the hens and saves himself for this duck. What to do?

I have no solution to offer, just this....that is so CUTE and ODD at the same time!
Very curious as to how this will all work out.

He jumps the fence just to get to her. Romeo and Juliet style he waits until she is walking near the fence and then it’s on. His wing is clipped as well but he uses his feet to climb. He’s persistent.

It is odd lol he doesn’t hurt her he’s just obsessed with her. it’s just this one particular duck as well. He doesn’t bother the other girls.
