My rooster is lethargic, not really eating, very thin and I've tried giving him vitamins, corrid, vet rx, and I brought him inside fir further evaluation and found this huge growth on his back. I gave him an Epsom salt soak.

This is the 4th chicken I've had die since the summer. The last one we had to cull 2 weeks ago for diarrhea, lethargy, emaciated, and then he couldn't walk.

Here is a picture of of the lump on my rooster now that is sick.

How old is he? This looks identical to a growth a hen of mine had some years back. I tried to treat it as a wound and even gave her antibiotics, but finally decided it was a squamous skin cancer as it never got any better. The big clues are weight loss, lethargy and a wound that won't heal.

He's not even a year old but I agree I think it looks like some sort of tumor. Makes me nervous it could be Mareks or something.

It's not Marek's. Squamous tumors are not uncommon on chickens. Unfortunately, he's not likely to get better. This is quite painful, by the way. If he stops eating and drinking, it's a signal he's wanting it to end.

Thank you. Yes he is already dying. I'm keeping him comfortable.

So sorry about your rooster, and losing your other chickens. I would try to have the state vet do a necropsy on him, to try and find a cause of death in order to rule out something contagious, such as Mareks. There can be a number of different tumors in chickens, a couple caused by viruses, and several other types. Here is a list of state vets:
