our indoor rooster has been sleeping a lot and it worries us, we gave him so egg and he ate that but that's it, he doesn't even want to try mounting our feet ( he does that :p) or seem interested in dancing for the outdoor hens. A few weeks ago we gave him antibiotic tablets by mouth twice daily for 2 weeks, but we're not sure it helped. :\

could certain herbs or plants cause him to be listless? because he takes dust bathes near the herbs.

He probably needs wormed. Worms make chickens lethargic. If you haven't done it, worm the entire flock.

We thought about that too, but since he's so small (about a pound and 2 ounces) we wouldn't be sure how much to give him.

and does worming kill all types or just certain kinds?

Safeguard (goat drench) dosage is 1cc/10 lbs bird, so it would be 1/4 cc for him. You need a small syringe and squirt it down his throat. Redose again in 7-10 days. That will kill most types of worms in chickens, except tapeworm. There is a 24 day withdrawl time from the date of first dose for eggs if you worm your whole flock.
