About 4 months ago I put down my Silkie rooster who was ripping up my legs. I then adopted a “nice” rooster, Roody, who likes me but hates two of my 9 hens. Twice he has attacked my Lilly and ripped her neck open. She is currently in a large cage healing. He chases Gert but she is faster than him. He is fine with everyone else although he is pretty rough when mating. So, do I rehome Lilly, the attackee, or Roody, the perpetrator? I am thinking that I am better off without a rooster since I don’t need fertilized eggs. Any thoughts?

If you don't need a roo, and your hens are getting beat up, then I'd say get rid of him. He isn't doing anything for you.
