Copper, one of my three roosters keeps laying down the majority of the time, last night he slept on the pine shavings in the coop. Blue, is the smallest rooster and has been nothing but trouble lately and he gets Big Red instigating trouble. Pretty sure Blue has been attacking Copper, who is about the most docile bird, Copper's tail feathers are torn up, his neck feathers have been pulled. Blue got pinless peepers put on yesterday and has earned himself sometime in the coop by himself. With Blue out of the picture the rest of the flock seems to do great, so he is looking like dinner.

Copper has been laying down, using his wings to help himself up and when he runs/walk it's like he is hopping. Is there anything I can do for him or help him out?

No, Blue is simply being kept in the coop with access to food and water. Even with his painless peepers on this morning he was done chasing the hens around causing trouble, so I had to chase him back into the coop. Copper comes out and will limp around then lay on the ground, can't believe the smallest rooster can't play nicely with others. I've got the entire huge front yard fenced in with poultry netting with lots of space for them to run.

Okay, I'm getting concerned as we brought Copper inside to keep him away from the others as the hens surrounded him and started pecking him. Made him a bed of pine shavings with food and water next to him. He is eating and drinking, started giving him 3cc of Rooster Booster Poultry Cell I believe was the name. Copper is pooping while laying down and isn't really moving from that spot. Looking him over I don't see anything other than the damaged feathers. Anything I should be on the lookout for that would cause this? Looks like he is using his wings to help sit up straight as well, just never seen this before.

It is possible he injured his leg while fighting with the other rooster that was bullying him. Or fleeing from him, like jumping off the roost after being picked on and landing on his foot wrong.

Try giving him some epsom salt soaks, it should help soothe pain in his leg.

What does his poop look like? Does it look normal?

Does he seem in pain when you touch his leg?

Gave Copper a Epsom salt soak for about 20 minutes and he did stand up for a bit. What has me concerned is he is starting to lay on his entire side and his legs stretch all the way out with his toes curled at times, his eyes are clear. I'm hoping rest, Epsom salt baths and poultry cell will get him back on his feet.

Maybe laying on his possibly sprained leg hurts him too much to lay like normal so he was laying in a way to take pressure off of his leg.

Hopefully some TLC will get him back to normal!
