Rooster keeps laying down

Copper doesn't seem to be getting any better. It's odd, he had his self with his butt in the air and face down. So he had his legs under him, I don't understand what's going on with my sweet Copper. Any ideas?

I had a situation where my tiny rooster was also terrorizing my medium size roo. My rooster likely had a back injury. He couldn't walk very well so I made a chicken sling for him which made him more comfortable. It also takes pressure off the legs.

Do a search and you will find instructions here on how to make it.

I have also had a hen with an injured hip that would lay on one side.

Does the rooster booster have electrolytes in it? If he's been dehydrated and his electrolytes or off that might cause a balance issue.

I mixed up something that Google said was electrolyte for roosters, I should have inquired about being sure (1 liter of water lukewarm, 1/2 tsp of table salt, 1/4 tsp of baking soda, and 2 TBS of sugar). I've been busy trying to help him, then I fell ill with what the Dr thinks is the flu early this week. I try to move him around and give him a warm bath every few days to wash his feathers off around his bottom. I notice if I touch his left side he seems to jump, he doesn't make any noise but he is continuing to eat and drink. I threw a bug in there for him the other day and he came alive and snatched it right up. Any other thoughts or views on if I've went wrong somewhere or if I can do anything else for my sweet Copper?

I read somewhere that if you pushed lightly on the bottom of the foot it should curl its toes if the legs are not paralyzed, is this an accurate statement?
