Your hens will be fine without him, he was exhibiting behaviors more befitting of a clueless young cockrel that are normally grown out of or get beaten out of him by older flock members.
Your girls, will probably throw a party to be honest.

He was even worse when young - he kept pecking hens that were eating grains near him.

Roosters are ment to help your flock flourish and keep them safe so they'll produce offspring.
Your fella isn't wired for that, never was.
