Hi all!!

My poor EE roo David (6 months) is having serious trouble today.

He is usually quite fierce and aggressive but today I let the flock out to free range and David was just lifeless. No crowing, sleeping while standing. He stirs when the flock tries to alert him or our other roo crows. He was drooling this morning so I figured crop impaction but his crop feels totally empty? His comb and wattles are warm to the touch.

Any insight helps!

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
Easter egger, seems to be a totally normal weight. 6 months.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.

Sleeping while standing, sleeping just all the time. He's usually aggressive so this is a huge change. Empty crop? Drooling earlier. Shivering.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
Since 8am PST Sept 14th

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Hasn't bothered to eat or drink today.

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Runny and green and white almost, but quite transparent

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
Giving egg yolk and trying to find out what's going on :'(

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
Just want to know what's happening as his crop is empty then will know how to proceed.

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
Attached in post

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
Wood coop, large run but they all free range during the day. Some straw around as we have goats etc.
