Rooster Limping from Wasp Sting

I'm glad to hear he's getting better. I do have a question though. In your initial post you said he was a Plymouth Rock, but the pictures you posted here look like Silkies. Auto correct?

The sign where we bought him said Plymouth Rock, but to me he looks like a Silkie, based on the pictures we have seen. I talked to a couple of friends who bought baby chicks the same place we did and they said the same thing. I guess that is what happens when you buy from a local farm supply store, the breed may not be exact. I can also tell you that his "sister" from the same batch lays WAY more eggs that what are expected from a Rock bird. She lays large brown eggs almost every day. And they both have personalities more closely matching a Silkie, although she is LOUD when she is laying. You can hear her across the yard normally and having her in the house in the sunroom makes it echo like you wouldn't believe. LOL
