I just noticed that one of our young cockerels has started expressing his rooster love for the pullets in his flock and it made me wonder something. What do you feed a mature rooster? Should I keep feeding him the grower feed? When the pullets start laying eggs and I switch them to layer feed can he eat that too or should I keep a feeder with grower feed in the run for him? Does it matter what a mature rooster eats? Thanks for any info you can give.
