Rooster loves me but hates everyone else

My Rooster, who is almost 2 that I hatched and raised myself, attacks EVERYONE except me. If anyone comes near me when I’m outside with them, he goes at them instantly. He jumps on my back and lays down, and also lays on my lap. He’s never hurt me. Why is he so mean to everyone else except me? does he think I’m his mom? Lol just curious as to what you all think. I have one hen too with him and he’s very protective of her too. PS: his name is Eggbert and this is him if that matters lol!

So cool! He must really ❤ you! I wish my rooster was a little more affectionate but he pretty much gets by with showing as little appreciation as possible
