We have four groups of chickens and each group has two roosters who cooperate with each other to watch over their hens. The groups range from 6 hens to 12. We also have four adult guineas. Two males and two females. I noticed one of my bachelor roosters had attracted one of our coming-of-age teenage hens. This was a nice sight. However, soon after, I spotted this rooster mounting one of the female guineas. Is this normal? The Guinea has been following this rooster and hen couple around a lot. The other guineas chase or chickens away every morning and evening but otherwise leave them alone. Just wondering what kind of bird would hatch from this coupling and if it would live. Any thoughts?
