That's too bad, he looked like a real nice chicken. I like those Rhode Island Red roosters. I've had real good luck with them having sweet dispositions. Well, it takes something powerful to kill a strong guy like that. If it was disease and you have other chickens, you'll know soon enough. Who knows, maybe he was hurt defending his flock from some predator. Let us know if you ever figure out what it was. Rest in peace Elvis.
